At Furniture Doctor, we do all sorts of repairs. We do everything from gluing chairs to crafting new pieces for existing furniture. We can change the tracks on your dining room table and make new rockers for your rocking chair. We can replace the cane on your chairs and even make you exact copies of broken spindles on our copy lathe. Our shop is equipped with all the tools necessary to perform almost any furniture type of repair you can imagine – and then some.
Something seemingly as simple as having a chair reglued can require more attention to detail and expertise than one might think. Have you reglued a loose chair, only to have it later come loose again and break? Or, maybe all four legs no longer properly sit together on the floor. All too often, we’ve had chairs brought to us after a repair attempt, where more damage was done than before the repair was attempted.

Do you do home visits?
Yes, we do!
Are your estimates / service requests free?
It depends. If you bring the piece into the shop, there are no charges. If we have to drive to your home, depending on where you live, there may be a charge. If you require a written report there will be an administration fee.
Why are there no prices shown on the website?
Every piece of furniturerequires different work; therefore, every piece must be priced individually.
